Ethics in Crisis Intervention and Trauma-Informed Care

This course explores the ethical considerations unique to crisis intervention and trauma-informed care in psychology and social work. Participants will examine the principles of trauma-informed practice, emphasizing safety, trustworthiness, empowerment, and cultural sensitivity. The course will address ethical dilemmas commonly encountered in crisis situations, including issues related to client autonomy, confidentiality, mandated reporting, and duty to warn.
