This course provides an overview of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), one of the most widely used and evidence-based approaches in mental health treatment. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of CBT, including the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The course will cover core CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure therapy, and problem-solving skills. Through interactive discussions and case studies, students will explore how CBT is applied to various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress management. By the end of the course, participants will have a foundational understanding of CBT concepts and practical strategies to help clients identify and modify maladaptive thought patterns and behaviors.
